Astrid Cortez Simon, was born in Santiago de Chile in 1984. Since childhood he began to feel passion for the different branches of art.

Began painting at 3 years. Performed throughout her childhood drawings, using watercolors, crayons, pencils and tempera. In which always represented his family, his friends and landscapes colorful.

When he started school and learned to write his first stories I ever stood in a happy ending. Also next to his sister used to dress up and do small performances at family gatherings.

In his teens he wrote some poems and then his first paintings in oil pastel pencils and crayons.

font-family: \"Arial\", \"sans-serif\" \"> When he finished high school at age 18 traveled to Barcelona, where he studied drama at school Xavier Gratacos. At the same time continued painting, drawing and digital art testing techniques self-taught.

He has done various courses, workshops and seminars in Barcelona, including the modern dance (school \"Tot Dance\") Art therapy (Inter-Art), Dance Scandal (CCCB). Participated as a member in
his first theater company. He also worked for 3 years in a craft workshop making paint and molding to \"parsec.\"

Today at 27, painting, acting and his new hobby photography are his passion, but few different ways to express it.

His paintings are born of his need for expression and plays them all their feelings, sometimes found. They are a mix of past, present and future, a mix of reality and fantasy. Pictures, travel, and memories, life, sorrow, joy, loneliness, longing, love and dreams.

In 2007, \"made his first exhibition in Barramón. (Barcelona from November to January 2008)

In 2008, \"also participated in group show called Expo Guapopo. (Barcelona, March).
